I am probably going to take down this Livejournal in the next week. I just don't have the time anymore to update and I'd much rather communicate with you through e-mail or a phone call. I'm just less and less happy with Livejournal and Facebook as means of communication, and more and more interested in communicating with people on a more real and personal leve.  I am curious as to who is still reading this. I know there are likely a few of you who read without commenting. It woudl be a shame to lose touch with you. So, if you've been reading my ramblings, drop a message in the comment box, or if you prefer, send me a an e-mail (sblumhagen@gmail.com)

Well it isn't as though I never ever hear from you in any other vein of communication, but I'll still miss seeing your posts. Just the same, a time and season for all things.

Everyone seems to be leaving Livejournal. I've been too busy to post regularly or anything really substantial for the last few months. Too much writing for classes :/

I don't know if I can get behind the whole disconnecting fad that some people are picking up. A fad against a fad, if you will. I get it, to a certain extent, but there's a reason these resources came into being- so people can keep in touch even though they are busy. Having moved around so much there's no way I could keep in touch with half of the great people I have met without the internet.

I still check in and read any new posts you have up. I get a more complete you with your posts and our phone calls and emails. It's nice to read what you're telling a different audience than myself, if that makes any sense at all. . .
